ELASTOMERIC
BITUMEN MEMBRANES
SBS are elastomeric membranes for
waterproofing of high quality. In case of these membranes bitumen is modified with elastomeric polymers, practically thermoplastic
rubber, mainly Stiren-Butadien-Stiren. SBS membranes are characterized with one especially strong elastic component which makes them
ideal for all kinds of applications, especially those exposed to strong structural movements (prefabricated surfaces). SBS is
very soft and excellently behaves at low temperatures. Beside good qualities indicated, SBS membranes are not resistant to UV
radiation from the sun and therefore protection of surfaces with crusty shale or some other UV-resistant material is compulsory.

These high-quality elastomeric membranes for waterproofing possess excellent steadiness to cold
and heat. The membranes are made on glass voal and have optimal dimensional stability. The mass
applied makes possible installing of the membranes at low temperatures. |
POLIFLEX PV3 PV4
POLIFLEX PV3, PV4 membranes for waterproofing are modified by SBS, made on reinforced fibrous polyester (PV) insert. Fibrous polyester ensures sound mechanical
characteristics and prevents separation of the membrane for waterproofing from the substrate even in case of significant, frequent temperature changes.
POLIFLEX PV3, PV4 bitumen membranes are also manufactured with surface protection of natural
shale (Š). They are used as final, self-protective membranes for inaccessible roofs.
